A LITTLE HISTORY...
DirectNB opened its doors in the Fall of 2001. In DirectNB's first year, it accumulated nearly 50 web-sites. And not just any sites... check out the DirectNB client list, and view our portfolio of prestigious New Bern and Craven County names such as: New Bern Riverfront Convention Center, Craven County Convention and Visitors Bureau, New Bern Tours, Mitchell Hardware, Craven Community College, Public Radio East, Ham's of New Bern, Swiss Bear Downtown Revitalization with its annual fall festival: MumFest and many more coming soon.

We don't just serve Historic Downtown New Bern and related tourism. Other sites include everything from home builders like Kit Corp (award-winning home builder company) to huge manufacturing facilities such as Aylward Enterprises located here in New Bern.

It's true that we focus on our own back yard, with the majority of our work being done for businesses and organizations located right here in New Bern, but we don't turn others away. There is Bay Racer Marine in Havelock, Oriental's School of Sailing in Oriental, The Ocean Club at Indian Beach, East Carolina Auto & Truck Center in Greenville, and even Five Oaks Duck Lodge in Arkansas!

Finally, being community-minded and making our home here in New Bern, we feel its important to support our community so we make it a habit to donate some of our work to local small organizations.  We are proud to be able to associate ourselves with organizations such as: Leadership Craven, Shoreline Baptist Church, and the Golf Ministry.

Visit our portfolio or client list pages for a complete list of satisfied customers. That wraps up the design part of DirectNB, but what about the hosting services?

MORE ON THE HOSTING SIDE OF DIRECTNB...One of the main reasons DirectNB was formed was due to increasing frustration with the mediocrity found in local hosting providers. It wasn't enough to design great websites for New Bern businesses and organizations.  DirectNB had to properly serve its customers by offering superior hosting and maintenance services together with web hosting.

After months of research, DirectNB decided to purchase super-fast servers. These servers are located in Dulles, Virginia, strategically positioned on the Eastern seaboard, as are so many other military installations, and Texas. Today, DirectNB provides New Bern and the surrounding area with unbeatable, same-day technical response. Adding value, services, and support to our hosting product has become our trademark. For more information on just what IS available from DirectNB, check out the services directory. And if you don't find the answer there, just drop us an email, and one of us will get right back to you!

Bruce Wise of Bruce Wise Designs is our primary graphic artist.  Bruce's 25 years of design experience is second to none.  Check out what he can do for your company in the Print world at www.brucewise.com and tell him DirectNB sent you.
